Headhunter

Term used by the Scandian League Combined Military for a soldier specializing in "headhunting" operations; that is, the specific targeting and removal of command officers. This is a common Scandian practice to decimate the enemy's chain of command and sow confusion. Most Headhunters are snipers serving in either the Biker Scouts or the Mechanized Cavalry, although Assault Engineers often expedite these missions as well. The SLCM has developed a 'point' system for enemy command officers (higher officers are worth more); those who attain a certain number of points receive a special patch for their dress uniform. (This patch is never worn on the combat uniform, however, as making such soldiers easily identified can defeat their purpose.)
