This article refers to a space/time phenomena which facilitates time travel. For the dimension containing Guardia, please use Gate Dimension.

A Gate is a rare occurence of temporal instability that allows passage between two fixed points in time. Generally, Gates connect two time periods at the same point in space.

The Gate Dimension is named for the frequent occurence of these temporal instabilities, prior to the stabilization of the Dimension by UL. To date, the Gate Dimension is the only place in the Web where Gates are known to have appeared.
