Esperian Artillery

Esperian artillery has improved significantly in a short-span of time. The earlier weapons used, prior to the founding of the Esper Union, consisted mostly of railroad-mounted artillery pieces. These behemoths were by and large old, Grand Army and Dark Wrath artillery pieces that had been salvaged from the Great War. These have largely been abandoned and replaced by more modern, tracked artillery. However, it should be noted that the Esperian Ground Forces generally head up an artillery regiment with a Bastion unit, and often rely on heavy airpower from the Esperian Aerospacy.

The primary cannon artillery of the Esperian Ground Forces is the TAW-02. The weapon carries a Labrador artillery cannon that can be carried by hand by a KN Garrison mecha, and thus acts not only as a traditional artillery cannon, but can transport the weapon to be picked up by a KN Garrison in the field. The vehicle itself is a metal frame with an armored cabin for the pilot and gunner of the artillery, and it is attached to a pair of tank tracks. The top speed of the vehicle is fifty-five miles per hour. The cannon itself is held on a hydraulic arm and the angle can be adjusted for firing at different angles. The vehicle can be linked to a satellite for firing, and also has night vision and radar built into the cabin portion. There is virtually no armor, save for that on the cabin, which only protects against small arms fire.
