Daval Habar

Daval Habar was Magistrate of Habar several decades before the beginning of Legends. A skilled warrior and a savvy politician, Daval was alarmed that the Ingrish were not living up to their full potential. Although theyw ere numerous and occupied good land, the Ingrish fought amongst each other, with an Alliance that existed largely in name only.

Daval's greatest success is undoubtedly the defeat of the Taznikanze warlord, Harsdrubal the Hammer. Duval taunted the Taznikanze warrior for relying too much on his enchanted weapon and challenged him to a bare fist combat. A long and bloody wrestling struggle ensued that ended with Harsdrubal bleeding to death and Daval claiming the enchanted hammer and thousands of Taznikanze slaves.

Although his own lands were distant from the Pan Dore, he began to become very alarmed about their rising power. Even though Daval was named Imperator, he sought to secure a more lasting union be marrying his daughter to the nearby lands of Norfrest; however, after his death, the noble marriage became a pretext for a war between the two realms, the War of Habari Succession.
