Coeurl

The Coeurl is a fierce and powerful predator, similar in appearance to a leopard or cheetah. It has two extremely long whiskers, almost like tentacles. Coeurls are typically lone hunters, and have few rivals in their food chain in the wilds. However, when faced with a stronger opponent or large packs of animals such as the greatwolf, they will flee instead of holding their territory. In addition to their physical prowess, they command an array of natural magics, including life draining, elemental command, and a terrifying ability known to locals as "Blast". This has been known to stun, paralyze, gravely wound, or even instantly kill those caught within the Coeurl's gaze, depending upon the strength and will of the beast.

They are known as the Torama in some regions of Avalon.
