Tristan Highwind

An ancient Dregün hero of the Beorn people, and legendary forebear of the Dragoons. Tristan earned the nickname "Highwind" for jumping far higher than any other Dregün; he jumped so high that friend and foe alike said that he even disappeared into the sky in battle, and seemed to ride the very wind. The combat technique he pioneered still forms the basic framework of the modern Dragoon fighting style.

Eventually, he married an amazon of the Xanthyr Nation and was the first man to ever live amongst them, a full member of the Nation. His descendants would also go on to found the Dragon Knights of Baron, and help shape the history of the Web.
