Esper Wars

- September 12, 29 WR: The Sky Riders are founded in Nikeah.

- October, 29 WR: Mic Hosluft begins to take control of the Sky Riders and Nikeah. With somewhat questionable methods, he becomes leader of the Sky Riders and manages to take complete control of Nikeah by the end of the month.

- November, 29 WR: Mic Hosluft concieves the idea of the Behemoth-class of super aerial flagships. At the same time, Hannibal de`Zama and Darius Laenus, two Nikeahan generals, begin to invent a new fleet strategy for the Sky Riders. An oceanic construction dock in the seas north of Nikeah is also constructed.

- November 8, 29 WR: Mic Hosluft meets Beryl Dalton at Derik and Naraya`s wedding. Beryl returns to Nikeah with Mic.

- December 29, 29 WR: The steel is cut on the top secret Vector-class ship, at a location in the Veldt which later will become Fort Locke. The project is codenamed the Vector Project and is directed by Doctor Vladius Kraken Rinster.

- January 30, 30 WR: Despite some protests from Generals de`Zama and Laenus, the steel is cut (and much more publically than that on the Vector-class) on the Behemoth, Mic Hosluft`s newest flagship vessel. Problems with the oceanic scaffolding make the construction take a considerable length of time.

- February, 30 WR: Duane Leiparizic, mayor of Mobliz, appeals to Mic Hosluft for helping Mobliz, which has hit upon hard times. Mobliz soon falls under Nikeah`s sphere of influence.

- March, 30 WR: With urging from a upper middle-ranking former Grand Army officer, the Mayor of Maranda aligns his city with Nikeah. That officer is Colonel Theodore Halberg.

- April, 30 WR: The construction of oceanic construction scaffolding for airships begins off Mobliz and Maranda.

- May 1, 30 WR: Mic Hosluft creates the Nikeahan Senate, a body that serves somewhere between a United Nations and a legislative house for the cities aligned with Hosluft`s Nikeah.

- May 21, 30 WR: The Behemoth is completed and begins combat trials.

- June, 30 WR: Mic Hosluft decides to continue the production of the Behemoth-class, despite further protests from Hannibal and Darius. Construction on six more vessels begins at the oceanic shipyards.

- July 14, 30 WR: The Leviathan and Hannibilian, two Behemoth-class vessels being built on off the shore of Maranda, are lost when the oceanic scaffolding suffers major malfunctions and sinks to the bottom of the ocean during mid-construction. Mic orders a multi-million geld excavation operation to begin.

- August, 30 WR: The other four in the second production run of the Behemoth-class are completed and launched. The excavated ships are built with another run that begins immediately.

- September 4, 30 WR: Solomon Aemilan of Zozo allies himself with Mic Hosluft. With his newfound near-stranglehold over the independent cities of the Esper Dimension, Mic pressures Tzen into joining his unofficial alliance.

- October, 30 WR: The third run of the Behemoth-class, including the excavated Leviathan and Hannibilian, is completed. However, pressure from Hannibal de`Zama and Darius Laenus, as well as a number of new, smaller designs from them, cause the fourth line of the Behemoth-class to be delayed. Production on a mass-scale begins all over Esper of the Crusader-class, the Tritoch-class, the Legionnaire-class and the Maduin-class vessels, as well as the Shiva standard fighter, Ramuh bomber, Bismarck gunboat, Stray interceptor and Ifrit power armor.

- October 18, 30 WR: Mic Hosluft orders the purge against the OmniSent to begin, starting a near genocidal witch hunt.

- December, 30 WR: Nikeah aligns itself with the Confederation, despite protests from Hannibal de`Zama.

- January 1, 31 WR: Mic Hosluft is assassinated in Nikeah by several politicians desiring to maintain the independence of the cities of Esper. Rioting breaks out across the dimension, with the heaviest - including a large scale airship battle - occuring in Nikeah. By the end of the day, the sides have divided themselves into the Hosluftan Esperians under de`Zama, Laenus and Aemilan and the Republican Esperians under Duane Leiparizic and Caius Caleina.

- Late January, 31 WR: The director of the Vector Project, Dr. Rinster, changes the name of their ship from the Vector to the Hosluft. At the same time, Theodore Halberg leads an army of Marandan volunteers to hault a ground advance of soldiers loyal to the Republican Esperians.

- February 27, 31 WR: The forces underneath de`Zama and Laenus and those underneath Leiparizic and Caleina meet at the Tzenian Landbridge, future location of Hosluftgrad. The Hosluftan army prevails, with both Duane and Caleina killed in the battle. The Republican Esperians quickly begin to fall apart.

- March, 31 WR: Mop-up efforts launched by the Hosluftan Esperians attack the splintered remains of the followers of Duane. Hannibal de`Zama, commanding a Crusader-class vessel after the loss of the Hannibilian at the Battle of the Tzenian Landbridge, wipes out several forces at Tzen itself. Theodore Halberg hits smaller bands near Zozo and Maranda, while Darius Laenus attacks forces fleeing to Kohinglen. Kohinglen, now governed over by Mic`s former mistress, Beryl Dalton, is independent of the new, albeit unofficial, regime.

- April, 31 WR: Darius remains in Kohinglen, with his new love, Beryl. He announces his resignation from the Nikeahan military and remains in Kohinglen.

- May, 31 WR: Solomon Aemilan begins to consolidate power in Nikeah; he uses the Nikeahan Senate to make himself Regent over the civilian aspects of the unofficial nation and puts Hannibal de`Zama as Regent over the military aspects.

- July, 31 WR: Growing disgusted with Darius and desiring to strengthen his own holding (being the heir chosen by Mic Hosluft), Hannibal de`Zama begins a campaign to defame the popular Darius across the dimension.

- September 4, 31 WR: The Vector Project is completed. The Hosluft is moved to Nikeah and unveiled for the first time to the public.

- September 6, 31 WR: The Nikeahan Senate declares war on Kohinglen at Hannibal`s insistence. Hannibal, commanding the Hosluft, leads the fleet and defeats Darius and his fleet. The two commanders duel in their suits of Ifrit power armor, Hannibal being the victor. He returns to Kohinglen to find, however, that Solomon has declared himself Regent of the new Esper Union. Hannibal makes an alliance with Beryl, then declares that he is the true Regent.

- September 10, 31 WR: Hosluftgrad is founded by Solomon`s followers.

- September 19, 31 WR: Regent Aemilan orders a fleet to attack Kohinglen, led by Colonel Vincent Charakas. However, the fleet is crushed by the forces under Hannibal.

- October 8th, 31 WR: Senator Popon Letalaero is assigned to command a large battle fleet to smash down Kohinglen. Hannibal`s smaller force crushes the battle fleet quite publically and sends the Senator back to a shameful fate in Nikeah.

- November 5, 31 WR: Beildos von Dorme and his mercenary force are hired by Solomon and attack Kohinglen. However, they are convinced by Hannibal de`Zama to change sides.

- November 9, 31 WR: Generalissimo Celiose Cole commands both sides to cease fighting because of the escalating OmniSent War. An eruption of terrorism follows.

- November 30, 31 WR: Eusic Mori, CEO of Atreus, attempts to use the respect both sides have for him and negotiate a truce. It fails and both sides walk out of the talks.

- December 16, 31 WR: A letter from Solomon Aemilan intended for Lord General Roland is intercepted. With evidence of his intended betrayal, the Grand Army and Esper Union gear up and attack Nikeah. Solomon is killed in the conflict and the city is seized by Hannibal`s forces and the GA.

- Late December, 31 WR: With the Regent of the Esper Union established as Hannibal de`Zama, Halberg secures Zozo and Maranda for the new Regent.

- January 1, 32 WR: Hannibal de`Zama is officially declared Regent of the Esper Union.
