Garland's Elemental Generals
Four skilled Beorn warriors, imbued by Garland with tremendous elemental power. The Elemental Generals were selected from among senior members of Garland's own clan, and had absolute authority over all other clan members and warriors in Garland's name.
- Leiche: The eldest shaman among the clan, gifted by Garland with earth-elemental magics. Twisted by the Beorn's struggle against the technologically-superior Xsian army, Leiche was known to employ the raised undead corpses of fallen warriors against the invading samurai armies.
- Karylith: A young, fiery-haired warrior maiden. Known as Kary of Six Weapons, for her unparalleled mastery of the six weapons of the Beorn tribes (swords, axes, maces, spears, halberds and thrown hatchets). Garland imbued her with the essence of fire, which she employs to great effect against the samurai armies' supply depots.
- Krake: A hardy warrior and adept fisherman, originally from the East coast of Beorn. Reputedly, he left home with his brother to fight the samurai invaders in the West sometime after Conerick married Chief Pravoche's daughter. Garland gave him the gift of elemental water; in conjunction with Thalatth, this gift has been used to manipulate the weather against the Xsian invaders.
- Thalatth: A woman of middle-age who, after being widowed by the samurai, took up her husband's shield and armor and became one of the Beorn's most ferocious warriors. Garland gave her the essence of wind; with it, she was granted the gift of magical flight, and so is Garland's most valuable scout.
