Talk:Aurora Garamonde

People might be wondering why I'm making a distinction between Aurora and Chrystalis when they are essentially the same character under different guises, to the point that Aurora has her own fullblown "stat sheet". It's very difficult to explain, and I'm sorry in advance if I end up sounding vague or esoteric and don't make sense. But, I'll try to explain anyway.

...ugh. I wrote and deleted a whole bunch of Moorcockian stuff in this space about three times (As an aside: I don't remember if I ever mentioned it to Travis, but Moorcock's where I got the whole dimension idea from.). I'll break this down another way: Chrystalis is the Big Picture idea, an eternal entity that is bigger than the sum of her parts. Aurora, OTOH, is an easy-to-grasp facet of that face; Chrystalis as I wrote her back in the day very much had Aurora's personality and quirks. Sai the moogle, first Kupop character EVER, was technically also an incarnation of Chrystalis and she was even more whimisical than Aurora (possibly even a little nuts). Gah, it's 3 am and I need to go to work in the morning, just take my word for it that Aurora deserves her own page. --Aurora 03:57, 1 February 2007 (CST)
