Garum sauce

Cuisine originating from Thebes consisting of a sauce made from rotting fish, and commonly served on bread or crackers, although Garum enthusiasts put it on almost everything. Most people outside of Terra Nostra can't stand it. Even within Terra Nostra, garum is rarely consumed outside the Theban Empire. Like most Theban cuisine, garum can actually make those not used to it violently ill.
