Dalmen Ferino is the Captain of the Guards for House Volkun. This gives him a station far beyond his rank; given the military supremacy of House Volkun, he is essentially one of the Jidoran Federation's Generals. He is a skilled fighter in person, having won considerable commendation for all of his skill there. It is well-known that Ferino's main loyalty is to Janos Volkun, as he is one of the man's oldest friends.
Personality
Dalmen Ferino is a quiet man in public. He knows his role well, and that is the role of a subordinate who loyally follows his master: Janos Valkun. He is sometimes seen as menacing; he is known to be a by-the-book commander with little sympathy for his subordinates. In private, however, he is a different man; he is talkative, gregarious, and charismatic, having mastered putting on two faces. There are rumors of his private behavior, including rumors of womanizing.
