Sir Toadus is the Captain of the Knights of the Square Table, and the Kingdom of Guardia's penultimate military authority before the King himself. He wields the legendary blade Masamune, and is a direct line descendent of the great Glenn Alvarre. Toadus is the patron of the Order of the Frog, the most prestigious order of Guardian Knighthood. During the Cleansing Wars he was cursed with a monstrous amphibian form by Rajaat.
Toadus is a stalwart of a man who, even as he advances to middle age and deals with his curse, is a warrior to be reckoned with. He inherited the Masamune in the year 2297, at the age of 17, after the death of his father Sir Amphos at the hands of Natba Ashtear's Trann Syndicate soldiers. The resolute young Toadus, acting as Captain of the Knights of the Square Table, threw the power of Guardia's knights behind the Arris Syndicate and ensured the victory of Doan over his rivals. Toadus served Doan ever since, and in that same spirit has served his son, Derik.
