Yet another expat Valendian who is also a member of the Resistance. A Knight of the Bastion, who is Neesa's second-in-command; Tieger is specifically leader of the Order of the Heartsblade. Another Kildean, Tieger is a childhood friend of Neesa's who grew up together in the slums of Dorter, and subsequently became fostered by the Iocan church. They also served in the Knights of the Cross together, and Tieger was also a commander under Roland Guildenstern.
Tieger died in the destruction of Léa Monde, at the climax of what has since become known as the Graylands Incident. Like his sister-in-arms, Samantha Harvey, however, Tieger found himself in the Bastion after he died.
He is an ox of a fellow who can't stand Gabriel Crescent.
