Leader of [Fabul]; though his official title is Chairman of the fascistic Renewal Movement Party, in practice his power is attached more to his person than his position. Tzu Mao rose to power as a fascistic ideologue, preaching a cultural restoration of Fabul that returns to the country's Xsian roots, as well as a military build-up with the long-term goal of re-uniting all of ancient Xsia under Fabul's leadership. (A stance which makes him quite unpopular in Eblan and Mysidia.)
Although no one doubts that he is the true leader of Fabul, he must contend with other centers of power, such as other party leaders, the increasing political power of the Fabul military, business leaders, and the Fabulian Triads.
Tzu Mao remains one of the few true out-and-proud fascist leaders in the Web today, and perhaps the only one still welcome in 'polite society' in the Web community. (Though, compared to the likes of Dack Stonescythe and Snoutwit, the bar is not very high.)
He sees Tally Quorsen's dream of Crystal unity as a possible vehicle for Fabul ambitions, and supported the Quorsen Clauses. However, the fate of Damcyan has been a bit of a sticking point between Fabul and Toroia, leading to a souring of relations in recent years.
