Dalmen Ferino is the Captain of the Guards for House Volkun. This gives him a station far beyond his rank; given the military supremacy of House Volkun, he is essentially one of the Jidoran Federation's Generals. He is a skilled fighter in person, having won considerable commendation for all of his skill there. It is well-known that Ferino's main loyalty is to Janos Volkun, as he is one of the man's oldest friends.
