Merfolk are found both in the Gate and Alter Dimensions. In Gate, they are native to El Nido, where they are found among the Demi-humans of Marbule. In Alter, they are found on the world of Alter-Mana, typically among the major port cities like Jadd, Palo and Polpotta Harbor. While normally nomadic, Alterian Merfolk do have permanent settlements at Madora Beach on the island of Bucca. On Bucca, Merfolk associate most readily with Harpies, and train them in the art of Spellsinging.
