Aurora, wicked stepmother of Kupopolis, is a crazy goth chick who, once upon a time, hung out on the Square forums of AOL and quickly became bored with the moogle clubs that were prevalent at that time. So, one day in 1995, she ventured into the Kupopolis thread and promptly took it over with poorly-written script fic about the adventures of a Mary Sue-tastic moogle (who eventually became Chrystalis. No, really.). She was soon joined by a fellow by the name of Jon, who was joined by others, and the rest, as they say, is history. Unfortunately, a few months later, Aurora's mother became greatly perturbed by the obscenely high AOL bills she was racking up. As a result, Aurora was forced to abruptly leave AOL, and thus her adorable little Frankenstein's monster of a shared universe was left to be raised by wolves. Well, Celiose. (You decide which is better.)

In the years following her exile, Aurora continued writing Kupopoverse fic on her own, none of which will ever see the light of day. For the most part, her free time was spent in the Final Fantasy, Highlander, Xena, and anime fandoms where she continued to torture people with her purple prose, with the added insult of bad cosplay. She was a member of the original Marching Xenas and bared midriff in a Callisto costume to thousands of tourists and revellers during NYC Pride Parades for three years. She also somehow managed to be in a documentary on modern American Witches, and was recently published in a non-fiction anthology on young Pagans. The rest of this era has been lost in a haze of MUDing, instant messaging, Pocky, and willy-nillying at East Coast anime cons (occasionally winning cosplay awards).

After being stalked, er, "searched for" by Scen, Aurora came back to Kupopolis in May 2005 to once again emasculate her colleagues and inflict bad romance posts on the world (now with added yaoi!). She recently moved from her lifelong home of New York City to the Phoenix area, where she's found a whole new fannish community to terrorize. By day, she consolidates federal student loans. By night, she...well, perhaps it's best not to get into that.

Rumors abound that Aurora returned in order to turn Kupopolis into a den of man-slaves, but this is a vicious lie that is not true at all. For serious.
