The legendary flaming holy sword of Tahran, God of Light. It is a blade of such mystic purity that it is said that only Paladins are capable of touching it, much less wielding it; if anyone else so much as touches it, they are consumed by holy fire. A sentient blade, it houses the spirits of noble paladins who have sacrificed their lives in service to the Light. Chief among the spirits housed in the blade is, KluYa, formerly the Light of Eternity on Mount Ordeals.

The sword itself was forged by Elven smiths in Crystal's far distant past, of an unusual alloy of mithril and adamantine. Legend has it that the sword can cut through even diamond. A tremendously beautiful weapon, even by Elven standards, its hilt is made of gold and an intricate latticework of leaves is etched into it. Upon the pommel rests a single, perfect diamond called the Eye of Tahran, said to reveal all falsehoods. When drawn, the blade leaps into burning white flame.

Its current wielder is King Alexander Sylinas of the Hyland Republic, who received it from his great-grandfather Cecil after becoming a Paladin. However, he has not had to draw it in quite some time.
