Omnibus Drive

An invention of Balentine Riach Omnibus's which allows space vessels to effectively travel faster than light by bending space. The "science" behind it is so incredibly bizzare that Omnibus may be the only man in the web who understands it. In his absence, Manx engineers working for Quistgaard Heavy Industrial attempted to reverse engineer it but met with only marginal success. Their Manx Drive appears on the surface to operate the same as the Omnibus Drive but is several orders of magnitude less efficient.

Omnibus himself called the device the "Flat Earth Drive." It has also been called the Chaos Engine.
