The Lopros Attack Helicopter, produced by Aerospace Esper, is built primarily for export, although it is an evolution of other Esperian designs. During the Leviathan War, to counter the dominance of the Scandian League's Dracoforms, the Esper Union hastily equipped rocket artillery on its Shoat airlift helicopters. Although a stopgap measure, this proved somewhat effective, particularly in urban environments, forests, and other places that afforded cover. After the war, Aerospace Esper refined the idea of a "mecha-killer" helicopter, producing a specialized gunship. The Lopros is the export variant of this gunship. It is used by several countries, but is particularly popular among former Fascist Pact countries such as Fabul.

The Lopros has a chin-mounted chaingun, and winglets that allow for the attachment of anti-armor guided missiles or rocket pods for saturation fire. As it loosely shares a design lineage with the Grand Army Spitfire, it incorporates an "armored bath" for pilot protection. Like most helicopters, this is a two-seater craft. Unlike the bulbous Spitfire, however, the Lopros presents a narrow, agile profile.

On paper, the Lopros can equip air-to-air missiles, but this does little good to protect it from a dedicated enemy air superiority fighter.

The Lopros competes directly with the Kuat Banshee for close air support craft in the Web market. Some find Kuat's turbofan a bit finicky, and prefer the helicopter; the Lopros also has a higher flight ceiling, which makes it a preferred option for countries with mountainous environments. The Lopros is a bit more rugged than Kuat's offering; some have compared the difference between the two aircraft like choosing between an offroad truck and a sports car.
