Golden Sun

High military decoration of the Grand Army given for exceptional performance while engaged with the enemy. Unlike Hero of the Grand Army, which can be given for a wide number of reasons, the Golden Sun is reserved for troops 'on the pointy end' specifically for combat heroism.

The Silver Sun and the Bronze Sun exist as similar, but lesser, awards.
