GA Tank Troops

Official name for the branch of the Grand Army ground forces responsible for operating tanks and tracked assault guns. The GA Inspector General of Tank Troops, currently Torstensson Lenart, is in charge of insuring that the branch is maintained at a high level of readiness and improving technological developments in the field. As a branch, the most hostile faction of the Grand Army towards mecha; when tactical requirements dictated the creation of a scout they commissioned the Bandit JetScout rather than use the Kuat Consortium Mongoose Scout Walker. Nicknamed Zipperheads.
