The Doomsday Watch is the group within the Collective that monitors the satellite feeds from SkyNet. They sit in the Map Room of the Pang Communications Complex. They are addressed by number rather than name, Number One being the leader.

In the sixth underground level of the Complex, there was a place known as the Map Room. Constantly updated satellite-transmitted imagery covered the room from floor to ceiling. There were men watching those maps every second of the day; they were known as the Doomsday Watch. They tracked everything; meteors, missiles, space ships, weather shifts, seismic activity, radioactivity, cosmic rays, mana waves, planes, trains, and detonations. Ever vigilant, the Doomsday Watch was always the first to know.
