Day of Judgment

One of those big-budget, high-end special-effects-laden sci-fi war movies, Day of Judgment was a commercial success. The plot featured a Grand Army platoon working to help stave off an invasion by a malevolent extra-Web force.

Nowadays it is significant because it was the breakthrough movie for actor Dane Kennedy, who played the platoon's unnamed sargeant. He was not the lead actor, but his work impressed the industry enough that he was noticed for future roles.
