Chal-Tar Horde

Nomadic horse tribes living in Manadala. A warrior culture, thought to be 'born on horseback'.

The Ingrish hated them. Centuries ago, it was the Chal-Tar Horde that forced the Ingrish peoples to migrate south, where the natural barrier of the Upperlands forest would screen them from Chal-Tar incursions. The Ingrish sometimes called them the "demons of the North" (the Taznikanze were the "demons of the South.")

Fortunately for everyone else, they were almost never unified politically.
