A Second Spear General (which meant he was not of the Samurai Class) in the Imperial Xsian Army during the late Kai dynasty. His official post was as Protector of the Frontier, attached to Ren Cang's army in the Imperial Province, but more often than not he was in the Imperial City serving in the capacity of an entertainer with his incredible feats of swordplay.

No Cha was said to have been the greatest warrior who ever lived in the Crystal Dimension, perhaps even the Web of Worlds. From Xsian writings of him, it has been determined by modern historians that he was by training a Dark Knight, and was the original wielder of the sword Deathbringer, which became a treasure of the Kingdom of Fabul after the fall of the Empire, and eventually was given to Cecil Harvey.
