Lo-Xsia

A term that refers to a Xsian province and the people found in that province.

Province

Lo-Xsia is modern day Eblan, either the largest island or smallest continent of Ching-Shih-Chieh. A coastal plain gives way to interior mountains and desert. Lo-Xsia was an important front in the Great Lunar War; the emperor Shang-Ti took the unusual step of promising land and title to warriors who could drive out the Eldrakyn and their Oni allies. This was the creation of the daimyo, a class of lords independent of the centralized imperial bureacracy. A recent resurgence by the Dai Oni have led to Lo-Xsia becoming another front for the defense of All Under Heaven.

People

Lo-Xsia are a mixed stock, combining Hai-Xsia and the native peoples of the province. Hai-Xsia tend to look down on the Lo-Xsia, though the Lo-Xsia are still regarded as superior to all non-Xsian ethnic groups.
