The Sun
- Native Alter-Manan Name: Zea, after the archaic God of Fire.
Alter I
- Native Alter-Manan Name: Barlen, after the archaic God of Gold.
This hot, blasted world has not yet been colonized, though the Guardians are considering making the effort, duplicating the success they had colonizing Gate I.
Alter II
- Native Alter-Manan Name: Libleyt, after the archaic God of Nature.
The Guardian colony of Tantalus was settled on this planet. Tantalus is famous among Guardian colonies for its greenhouses and botanical work.
Alter-Mana
- Native Alter-Manan Name: Fa'Diel
The third planet in the dimension is called "Alter-Mana," because of the superficial similarities some of its races and cultures have to those in the Mana Dimension. One of the most striking similarities is the existence on both worlds of the Elementalist religion, which somehow evolved independently of the Mana variant.
Alter-Dragon
The fourth planet in the dimension is "Alter-Dragon." As with Alter-Mana, Alter-Dragon was so named because many of its races and cultures bear similarities to those of the Dragon Dimension, in particular the profusion of anthropomorphic animal races and tradition of dragon worshipping religions.
The Elementalists named this world Tryne, after the old Elementalist God of Water, because it was bright blue when seen from the surface of Alter-Mana.
Alter Belt
Guardian mining operations occur in this fertile asteroid belt between the fourth and fifth orbitals of the Alter Dimension.
Alter V
- Native Alter-Manan Name: Ghazel, after the archaic God of Wind
The Guardian colony of Tartarus was settled here. It serves as the main anchorage for the Guardian Space Fleet. As a gas giant, the colony also maintains a gas mining operation.
Alter VI
- Native Alter-Manan Name: Morphes, after the Archaic God of Earth
