At 250 meters long, the old Confederate Dreadnought was once one of the largest ships in space -- but that reign did not last long at all, as soon afterward miles-long ships like the Executor, the Tyrano Warship, the Manabeast Battlecruiser and the Hosluft-class Fleet Command Vessel came to dominate the spacelanes. The Dreadnought is built along the same lines as other Confederation fleet ships, but the Dreadnought has a quadrilaterally symetrical design, bearing a J-curved wing on each of its four sides. The Port and Starboard wings are large and thick, and serve both as weapon mounts for an impressive amount of gun batteries, but also as launch bays for the vessel's compliment of four fighters. (which was really impressive at the time it was built, really)
Forthena continues to build Dreadnoughts for its own fleet, but lacks the technology to improve them beyond the original design specs.
Dreadnoughts of note in Kupopolis
The flagship of the Forthenan Grand Fleet, the Duelist, is a Dreadnought-class vessel.
The undead pirate Marbles Marlowe presently captains a Dreadnought that once served in the Confederate fleet as the Implacable, but is now re-christened The Rusty Wang, because of the vessel's condition of being in somewhat of a state of disrepair, and also because it is vaguely phallic in shape.
