Tro was home to the last Elven stronghold in the world, the Kingdom of Kavan, formed by the Tel'Quessir: those Elves in the dimension who'd survived their series of brutal civil wars. In addition to the Elves, the Xanthyr Nation--a society of fierce human female warriors--also lived in Tro. The forests were the stage for a protracted guerilla war waged by the Elves and their Xanthyr allies against their Xsian oppressors.
