History
Vladius Rinster was one of the most brilliant minds produced by the city-state of Vector. He earned his bachelor`s degree at the age of fourteen and his doctorate by seventeen. Afterward, he was employed in what would become the Magitek Research Facility, and did some of the first research on captured Espers. He was among the few to determine their real nature (some of which was never shared with his bosses). When Kefka inflicted his wounds on the world, Rinster fled.
He resurfaced on the Veldt, in one of the Nikeahan colonies some thirty years later, and formed what would become the Fort Locke Research Group. He somehow seemed to look only in his early forties; the best guesses are that he discovered a longevity treatment. He developed much of the weaponry for the Esper Union and Sky Riders Aerospace Navy here, while undertaking his own personal projects from time to time. These have included strange genetic experiments and lifeforms, some of which have been reported as "undiscovered species" on the Veldt.
