Fabulians are a people proud of their traditions, history and culture. This very naturally lends itself to a powerful nationalist streak, which allowed for the rise of Tzu Mao's fascist party takeover, and the nation's resultant admission into the Fascist Pact. Fabul today remains a Pact member, and is in fact a strong ally of the Porcine Republic -- Snoutwit's breakaway Silveran state -- and peripherally also an ally of Eblan in its struggle against socialist Mysidia. Many in the dimension hope that the Fabulian-Porcine alliance is not a prelude to the spread of communist-fascist aggression into Northern Crystal.
