Twilight

Also known as Eternal Twilight. Twilight is a sleepy city thusly named due to the fact that the city exists in a perpetual state of twilight. It lies on the "edge" of the Place Which Is No More; it's home to the most accessible gate into the dimension, and thus the most likely entry point. As such, it's a waystation and port of sorts.

Twilight is considered neutral territory, though it enjoyed cordial relations with the Hollow Bastion until Dimetrius Xephalos' coup. Saphiral Simarial, its Elven ruler, has elected to officially stay out of the Bastion War, though he secretly provides aid to Prince Ansem.
