Influences

I was curious as to how bebop influenced the story (other than the Roughnecks Tex and I have hardly gotten off the ground). Now, I'm also interested to hear how bebop, evangelion or trigun influence the story.

I'm wondering how an influences section is relevent to the Wiki's ultimate purpose of providing reference material for Kupopolis. It might be interesting, but there are a lot of other things we should be doing before we contemplate filling out articles about Cowboy Bebop of Final Fantasy VI. Like, say, all those character and nation profiles that either aren't up yet, or haven't been listed. Also: ye flask continues to elude being gotten. This is unacceptable. I don't think the influences section is terribly useful either, and I certainly hope nobody wastes their time writing exhaustive essays on how this or that influences the story. I think it's more just a curiosity or a shout out. Also, cannot get ye flask. Thou examine ye flask. No one should write articles about anything in the Influences section. It's just there to be a list. But I do think it belongs there as a side-note for giving a little credit. Xstryker 11:57, 31 July 2006 (CDT)

Eh, I thought it would be smart just to have a list of things that we've taken ideas from. There's a definate anime influence to some of the stuff we've written, although its not as direct as say the final fantasy references.
