The practice of magic as it is known in the world of Aryth. Aryth has four general elemental schools of magic: Air, Fire, Water and Earth.
Arythian wizards are ranked, in order of power, according to the hierarchy of the Glory Tower. The ranks are: Cenrum, Tane Cenrum and Verund Cenrum. There is traditionally only one Verund, who has historically been the leader of the Glory Tower.
To this day many in the Web of Worlds incorrectly term all Arythian wizards as "Tanes," even if that is not an individual wizard's actual rank.
